Speaking three languages daily has deepened my appreciation for the art of communication. I understand the challenge of having something important to say but struggling to find the right words. This body of work reflects my journey of finding a true home after living in 24 different cities. These paintings celebrate the joy of settling in San Luis Valley, Colorado, capturing its beauty through plein air techniques. These landscapes may feel familiar for locals, but for me, they are newly discovered and filled with wonder. Each piece marks my connection to this place, celebrating a shift from merely surviving to truly living, and my hope to leave a lasting mark on the valley as it has on me.
