The Client
CanvasLab.com is a Mexican company specializing in high-quality art prints of iconic works from art history. Their mission is to bring renowned masterpieces into homes while enriching people’s understanding of art and its cultural significance.
The Project
The idea became a reality during the pandemic when making content for the brand became hard due to... well, you know. The main objective was to create a weekly, one-hour-long, Spanish podcast titled El Podcast de Arte, which aimed to explain art history to a wider audience while promoting Canvas Lab’s products. The podcast was designed to position Canvas Lab as a brand that fosters art appreciation and engages with a community of art enthusiasts.
My Role
I handled multiple aspects of this project, including branding, art direction, scriptwriting, research, filming, performing, and co-hosting with Manuel Larrazabal, founder of Canvas Lab. I also designed graphics and managed the podcast’s distribution across platforms like Spotify, YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook. Beyond full episodes, shorter content pieces, like weekly trivia and discussion posts, enhanced engagement.
The Result
During its two-year run, El Podcast de Arte produced 71 episodes, significantly boosting brand recognition and solidifying CanvasLab’s position within the art community. The interactive content fostered meaningful conversations on social media, enhancing community engagement and expanding the brand’s presence across various platforms.
